Hot School Meals

Hot school meals are prepared by Gary Monger and his catering staff at Writhlington School and they are brought to us freshly cooked each day. They cost £2.70 each and are ordered on a weekly basis.

We have a three week rolling menu which caters for diets including vegetarian. The catering staff are also very understanding of all special dietary requirements and will happily cater for children with allergies.

For more information, including Universal Infant Free School Meals, please see the ‘Information about our Hot School Meals’ PDF. You can also download the order forms and the weekly menus if required.

School Ethos

At Leigh-on-Mendip, our school ethos is to provide the school community with a safe, challenging and creative environment in which we care and respect individuals, their needs and skills, to ensure we are ‘working together to achieve our best’. Please feel free to download our full School Ethos statement.
