About FOLS

The FOLS committee and members organise fund raising, social, educational and self-help activities for the benefit of all the children in the school. As well as helping the school it also helps to develop understanding and links between home and school, as well as being a lot of fun. It is also a great way for new parents to meet other parents.

FOLS have lots of exciting events planned for the coming year. These include fundraising discos, Mother’s Day and Father's Day Fundraising Events, tea towels and Christmas gifts designed by the children as well as our recycling collections, refreshments at the Leigh-on-Mendip Fete and a Mad March Hair Day. We also run a 100 Club for which we will be starting new subscriptions in April 2018 for the following 12 months. Tickets cost £10 per number and you have a monthly chance of winning a £25 1st prize, £15 for 2nd prize and £10 for 3rd.

The date for the next AGM in 2018 is Tuesday 18th September, 7.30pm school hall.

If you are interested in finding out more about FOLS please ask the school for more information or sign up to the FOLS newsletter in the sidebar).

The 100 Club
We are entering a new set of draws for our 100 Club and are looking for new members to join.

Tickets cost just £10 and you have a chance of winning one of the 3 monthly prizes of £25, £15 and £10.

If you would like to purchase a number please see a member of FOLS or ask in the school office. Don’t forget that friends and family can also get involved and a number could make an excellent present for someone’s birthday.

Swishing Event
We are also planning to hold a Swishing Event (a clothes swap) in April. More details will be available in the very near future so watch this space! We are hoping that it will be not only be a chance to spruce up your wardrobe but also have fun and raise some money for our children to benefit from at school in the process.
